Michelle started her career in the financial services industry over 25 years ago when she was chosen for an internship at a SEC registered, private investment firm while she was attending college at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. She was then hired into a full-time role and was steadily promoted to Chief Operations Officer. In 2003 she began a 17 year-long career with First National Bank of Omaha where she most recently served as Director of Branch Banking. In 2021 she joined Perspective Planning Partners (PPP) as an Advisor where she now utilizes her past experience and expertise in partnership with the PPP team in order to help clients acquire a clear perspective of their financial future.

In her passion for serving, Michelle first volunteered with Junior Achievement of Lincoln over 20 years ago in their after-school program and she was hooked. She was excited to serve in an organization dedicated to positively impacting the lives of young people through lessons in financial literacy, work and career readiness and entrepreneurship. Today, she currently serves as Chair Elect for the Junior Achievement of Lincoln Executive Committee and Board Member for Junior Achievement of Lincoln. She also serves on the United Way of Lincoln and Lancaster County Women in Philanthropy Steering Committee and serves as a Group Leader for Bible Study Fellowship in the Lincoln Evening Women’s Class.
Michelle is a life-long resident of Nebraska. She grew up on a farm and is grateful for the opportunity it provided her to learn the value of hard work and the benefits that come from being part of a small-town community. She moved to Lincoln to attend college and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in accounting and finance. She is happily married to her husband Tracy and they are blessed with a daughter, Sierra, who is currently attending college at Nebraska Wesleyan University. When Michelle is not spending time serving her clients and the community, you will find her with her family enjoying outdoor activities from spending time on the family farm to reading or enjoying time at the lake boating and fishing.
